University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam

There have been 14 schoolsand one international school with 42 undergraduate programs; 17 masterprograms; 11 doctoral programs. UEH is the first university in Vietnamto get approval from MOET for delivering the Ph. D programme in English since2015.

The University has been internationalising curricula at UEH since 2012 with thecooperation with morethan 100foreign universities; 15  joint international training programs with key academic partners in EU, US,Australia, NewZealand.

UEH Students can enjoy the E-library with more than100,000 book titles and 400 international journals from Science Direct andEmerald. 

UEH has been an associatemember university of ASEAN Universities Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) sinceOctober 2015

The University has got threeUndergraduate programmes that have been accredited and certified by AUN-QA:Banking; Accounting & Management (2013 and 2016); two undergraduate and twomaster programmes accredited and certified by FIBAA (Foundation forInternational Business Administration Accreditation) in 2017 (Master ofDevelopment Economics (jointed between UEH and ISS-Erasmus University in theNetherlands), Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of BusinessAdministration and Bachelor of International Business) and recently inSeptember 2019 there were other four programmes accredited and certified byAUN-QA.

These undergraduateprogrammes have made the difference in terms of the international orientation of the study programme,positioning of the study programme in the educational market, and within theHEI’s overall strategic concept expressed by counselling for prospective students, transparency and documentation of admission procedureand decision. These programs delivered in English have been with modern methodsand scientific approaches, multidisciplinarycompetences, practical business experience, and guest lecturers and internationality offaculty and academic qualification of faculty. There has had cooperation andpartnerships especially cooperation with business enterprises and otherorganisations. As a result, graduate students have enjoyed their jobs aftergraduation. These characteristics of these programmes have really made significantdifferences. This can be explained why students have put UEH the first choicewhen enrolling in the university.
