拉格瓦特大学

The University of Laghouat is a public state-supported university in South Algeria, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It was initially created as Higher Education Institution in 1986 prior to joining the university system in 1997.  In addition to the university rector and the general secretariat, administratively, the University of Laghouat is organized into 04 vice-rectorates:

- Vice-rectorate of the higher education, of the third cycle, university empowerment, scientific research and postgraduate higher education.

- Vice-rectorate of the higher education of undergraduate and graduate levels, continuing education and degrees and higher education in graduation.

- Vice-rectorate of external relations, cooperation, animation, communication and scientific events.

- Vice-rectorate of development, prospective and orientation.

Actually, The University has four campuses situated in Wilaya of Laghouat. The ancient Campus houses four of the university's nine faculties: faculty of Sciences, faculty of Civil Engineering & Architecture, faculty of letters & languages and faculty of Law. The first campus houses four faculties: faculty of Medicine, faculty of humanities & social sciences and faculty of Human Sciences, Islamic Sciences & Civilizations. The second campus houses the faculty of technology and the institute of science and techniques of physical and sports activities. The third campus houses the faculty of economics, management and commercial sciences.
