UiT the Arctic University of Norway has 16500 students, whereof a little more than 10% are international students from 110 countries. UiT is a classical university divided in six Faculties; Faculty of Health Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education, Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics and Faculty of Fine Arts. We have about 10% international students, 70% students from Northern Norway and 20% students from Southern Norway. At UiT we offer bachelor degrees in the classical disciplines as well as teaching, engineering and nursing. Only one bachelor degree is taught in English; Arctic Adventure Tourism.
