About

The University offers Bachelor of Sciences, Master of Sciences and Postgraduate degrees including 175 academic majors. Furthermore, it offers 4 courses of Joint diploma in Law, Economics and Foreign Languages Teaching. The University faculty is highly distinguished; they include 1200 professors and lecturers, 70% of which are Doctors of science. There are various modes of study: full-time, part-time, distance, post-graduate, upgrading professional skills. Tyumen State University provides a preparatory course of the Russian language for foreigners before enrolling to the main academic programmes. This is a six months /a year course depending on the applicant's level of Russian. TSU is in the process of developing the project of the Polytechnical School that will be to prepare highly-qualified stuff in technological sphere.
