The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary has a business analytics program, which is a new program from 2016. The school has been recognized in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.
The school specifically teaches four key areas of business analytics: business acumen, applied mathematics, computing technologies and communicating with impact. The program is accredited by both AACSB and SACSCOC. It is a ten-month program, that is both intense and coursework based. The school also provides “boot camps” in the summer, covering key aspects like linear algebra and Python programming, to enable students to meet any or all of the prerequisites prior to starting the program. The class profile has 47 students, with a median range of zero to four years’ prior work experience. Courses include intermediate probability and statistics, heuristic algorithms, and big data.
