The need for postgraduate programs emerged in view of the persistent demand of the students and other stakeholders for further and more enriched knowledge through 07 research-based Master’s Degree Programs of the university. Each academic Faculty has virtually articulated its post graduate programs emanated from the graduate programs sustaining its quality and excellent trademark. Successful Professionals and Practitioners from a specific discipline are invited to share their practical knowledge, experience and inspire the students to become future executives and entrepreneurs.

To enhance and widen the scope for internationalization of the university, affiliation and partnership have been forged through MOU/MOAs which specifically define mutual interest like research collaboration, faculty & student exchange programs, etc. Co-curricular activities are encouraged and undertaken through the different accredited clubs focusing on culture, sports, arts and student development activities.

 

Research

In the research arena, AIUB has boldly continued with its academic journals: AIUB Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE), ISSN#1608-3679 and AIUB Journal of Business and Economics (AJBE), ISSN#1683-8742. Since the first publications in 2002, three issues per years are being published regularly and the journals have been appreciated by the academics of the country and abroad. To make its unique mark in the research arena, AIUB has launched the nation's first electronic databank. This databank (www.aiub.edu/databank) contains historical financial data of nation's business, stock market and economic data. AIUB is also the first institute in Bangladesh to launch an online working paper series named “AIUB BUS ECON Working Paper Series”. This working paper series is collaborated with RePEC (Research Papers in Economics) to introduce the local researchers with the global research networks.
