The main teaching language of Atılım University in most of the programs is English both undergraduate and postgraduate departments that provides decent education level for international students and domestic students. Besides, Turkish is the second teaching language in some of the programs.

Atılım University has İncek campus that includes all faculties in the district of Gölbaşı where is in Ankara province. Graduate School of Social Sciences building is in city center. We also have Atılım Hangar for flight training purposes in Esenboğa Airport. All the other University’s units except upon the indicated facilities are situated in İncek campus.
Atılım University has an outstanding sport saloon which contains fitness center, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and billiards in the sport building. Moreover, the university has a swimming pool, tennis courts and artificial lake for having a rest near the sport building in the campus.
Atılım University is a prominent and leading research university with more than 150+ state of the art laboratories and a unique Metal Forming Center of Excellence (MFCE) which is one of the 5 comparable centers all over the world. Atılım University’s students mostly tend to visit cultural and historical places all over the Turkey. They take part in educational, sport and art competitions which are organized between universities in Ankara as well in other cities of Turkey.
Atılım University has two contracted dormitories in the city center. However, students live outside of İncek campus due to spirit of the city has alive atmosphere for international students and attractive entertainment places to keep in touch with other international students from other Ankara’s universities.

• What is the status of planned campus admission open days/tours?
According to Council on Higher Education in Turley, spring semester will be performed via distance education and all the campus facilities will be closed till June. The prospective students can follow up ic.atilim.edu.tr for further information.
• How can applicants contact the university about their application?

• How is the university handling applicants whose exams have been cancelled?
Due to Covid19 pandemic, we are expecting a delay in the beginning of Fall 2020 /2021. So we expect that applicants can get their diploma before the end of registrations for Fall 2020 /2021. They can also declare the expected high school graduation scores for Bachelor programs so that we can evaluate their application.
• What advice is the university offering to applicants unable to take an English-language test due to centers being closed?
They can enter Atılım University Proficiency Examination (APEX) in our campus during registration time if they can not provide TOEFL or IELTS score before that time.
• How is the university supporting applicants whose visa applications have been delayed?
We are communicating with Turkish Embassies requesting help for visa for applicants by sending the official acceptance letters from our corporate email accounts.
• Is the university still accepting applications? Are there any restrictions being placed on international applicants?

There is no change in requirements but for the delay of graduations, they can send us expected graduation score so that we can evaluate, during registration, we will request the original scores.
Atılım University does not charge any admission fee from international students for applications. Applicants are easily able to send their application through email to ic@atilim.edu.tr which is official email address of international center. Each department evaluates and decides individually regarding applications. There is a final committee to accept prospective students and scholarship designations at International Relations Directorate. Atılım University provides scholarships based on educational backgrounds of students such as graduation score, or scores of other tests such as SAT score among others both for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. The university’s departments are responsible for evaluating applications and to decide regarding acceptations. The final committee decides for scholarships so students can get partial or full scholarships according to their education background. International undergraduate students can also obtain scholarships during studying periods based on their CGPA in their fields.
According to surveys conducted by Career Planning Unit, only 8 percent of graduates are looking for job after one year of graduation both for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Atılım University has more than 70% contacts of its graduates from LinkedIn network. Atılım University has a career service unit for students and an alumni network as an association. They organize career days for students, giving workshops concerning preparation of curriculum vitae and job interviews. Alumni network keep in touch with graduated students to support them in business environment to be more successful.
