School of Foreign Languages, Department of Basic English (English Preparatory School) has Pearson accreditation.
The main teaching language of Atılım University in most of the programs is English both undergraduate and postgraduate departments that provides decent education level for international students and domestic students. Besides, Turkish is the second teaching language in some of the programs.

Atılım University has İncek campus that includes all faculties in the district of Gölbaşı where is in Ankara province. Graduate School of Social Sciences building is in city center. We also have Atılım Hangar for flight training purposes in Esenboğa Airport. All the other University’s units except upon the indicated facilities are situated in İncek campus.
Atılım University has an outstanding sport saloon which contains fitness center, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and billiards in the sport building. Moreover, the university has a swimming pool, tennis courts and artificial lake for having a rest near the sport building in the campus.
Atılım University is a prominent and leading research university with more than 150+ state of the art laboratories and a unique Metal Forming Center of Excellence (MFCE) which is one of the 5 comparable centers all over the world. The University promotes student-centered approach and hands on training in education and research. The Technology Development Center (TEKMER), the Aerodrome Project in Esenboğa International Airport in cooperation with the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) as the research support program offering funds for scholars, the Research Laboratory Projects (ALP) as the program offering funds to establish new laboratories and to turn them into prospective research and the Undergraduate Research Project (LAP) as the research support program offering funds for undergraduate students are among the research and technology opportunities offered at Atılım University.
Atılım University provides online library accession to reach wide range of academic articles based on related departments. Atılım University has the 4th largest library in Ankara. Our library aims to create team spirit, service and perfection within itself, enable the library users to produce-keep-transfer the information and to create a learning society.
International students are more than 600 from over 63 different countries all over the world including Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, Middle East, Balkans, Gulf Region and Caucasus.
Atılım University’s students mostly tend to visit cultural and historical places all over the Turkey. They take part in educational, sport and art competitions which are organized between universities in Ankara as well in other cities of Turkey.
Atılım University has two contracted dormitories in the city center. However, students live outside of İncek campus due to spirit of the city has alive atmosphere for international students and attractive entertainment places to keep in touch with other international students from other Ankara’s universities.
Atılım University does not charge any admission fee from international students for applications. Applicants are easily able to send their application through email to ic@atilim.edu.tr which is official email address of international center. Each department evaluates and decides individually regarding applications. There is a final committee to accept prospective students and scholarship designations at International Relations Directorate. Atılım University provides scholarships based on educational backgrounds of students such as graduation score, or scores of other tests such as SAT score among others both for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. The university’s departments are responsible for evaluating applications and to decide regarding acceptations. The final committee decides for scholarships so students can get partial or full scholarships according to their education background. International undergraduate students can also obtain scholarships during studying periods based on their CGPA in their fields.
According to surveys conducted by Career Planning Unit, only 8 percent of graduates are looking for job after one year of graduation both for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Atılım University has more than 70% contacts of its graduates from LinkedIn network. Atılım University has a career service unit for students and an alumni network as an association. They organize career days for students, giving workshops concerning preparation of curriculum vitae and job interviews. Alumni network keep in touch with graduated students to support them in business environment to be more successful.
