City has invested £120 million in structural developments in campus since 2012. This includes the development of a state of the arts sport centre, a new student bar and numerous learning spaces.
City’s main campus houses the University library, which occupies five floors in the Northampton Square building. In addition, there are specialist libraries for Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and The City Law School.
CitySport, the new sports centre, is the largest student sports facility in central London. Fitted with the latest and most sophisticated fitness equipment across 3,000m2 of floor space, CitySport provides leading-edge sport and well-being facilities for students.

All City undergraduates complete a Career Activation Project (CAP) as part of their degree. This could take the form of a MicroPlacement, an industry-led consultancy project, a summer internship, volunteering or mentoring and coaching. Each project has been designed to provide essential relevant professional experience.
Undergraduate students also take a Career Activation Module (CAM) to help prepare for the application process when seeking graduate employment. Each CAM has been designed to be unique to each subject and career options and form a core part of the study programme.
