ETH Zurich offers 49 Master’sdegrees in Construction Sciences and Architecture, Engineering Sciences,Natural Sciences and Mathematics, System-oriented Sciences, and Management andSocial Sciences,
The curricula focus onresearch and the practical applications of research findings. In addition tolectures, lab work and practical assignments, many programmes offer students theopportunity to take part in work placements as part of their course.
ETH Zurich offers bothconsecutive Master’s degrees programmes, continuing directly from thecorresponding Bachelor’s degree, and specialized, interdisciplinary Master’sdegrees.
A doctorate can be carriedout in all scientific disciplines of ETH Zurich’s 16 departments.
Master’s degree studentspay CHF 730 (US$750) per Semester. The same fee applies regardless of the student's nationality. Doctoral students earn a salary whichstarts at CHF 47,000 (US$48,500) in the first year. After registering for theirdoctoral exam, students will need to pay a one-time fee for the wholedoctorate: CHF 1,350 (US$1,400).
