Where better to study than in one of the most vibrant cities in Australia? Melbourne offers revellers a world-class dining, numerous art galleries, homegrown fashion and a packed sports calendar, it’s no wonder the capital of Victoria appeals to the masses.

Things you must do when in Melbourne: Wander through Melbourne's laneways; shop like a local in Melbourne’s many markets; explore Melbourne's vibrant arts and culture; dine at famous eateries; discover what makes Melbourne a top-contender as the world's sporting capital.

In the city centre you’ll find the modern Federation Square development with plazas, bars, and restaurants on the Yarra River.

Similar to London’s south Thames promenade, the Southbank area in Melbourne features the Melbourne Arts Precinct, the Arts Centre Melbourne site – a perofroming arts complex – and the National Gallery of Victoria which holds Australian and indigenous art.

And of course, as Melbourne is in the southern hemisphere, the four seasons in Australia differ to other parts of the world. Summer is from December to February; fall is March to May; winter is June to August; spring is September to November.

Although La Trobe University’s main campus can be found in Melbourne, La Trobe Business School programs can be studied at a number of campuses including: Melbourne, Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, City, Mildura, Shepparton, Sydney, and there’s an online program too.
