About

Study at a modern university in the heart of Europe – Masaryk University consists of nine faculties, encompassing a wide array of academic and research disciplines from the natural sciences to the humanities. In 100 years of its existence, Masaryk University has succeeded in educating over 200,000 graduates, who have excelled in many fields and in many countries around the world.

A structured study system enables students to combine many fields of study in Bachelor’s degree programmes with Master’s and PhD programmes. Classes are taught in a new and modern teaching and research campus in world-class laboratory facilities, classrooms and libraries as well as in historical buildings in the city centre.

Many students participate in the activities organised by the International Student Club (ISC), which focuses specifically on international students, providing a range of services and organizing leisure time activities. The ISC also provides tutoring services: each international student is assigned a Czech student tutor to help handle formalities arising on arrival as well as to show them around the city and the university.
