In addition to domestic research resources, NCTU plays an important role in international collaborations. Professors and students of NCTU have been working in close cooperation with top international institutions like MIT, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Cornell, UIUC, University of Tokyo, Tohoku University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Chalmers, KU Leuven, IIT et al. With such international exposure combined with dual degree opportunities, students can gain precious experiences for their future professional careers. Up to now dozens of students have obtained duel degrees with elite foreign universities, making them competitive in the job market.
