Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) is the largest in the south of Russia multidisciplinary and technical complex with a well-developed infrastructure and modern material and technical resources. It was in 1907 under the decree of the Russian emperor Nicholas II in the city of Novocherkassk. The University provides undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs, which are in line with today is requirements of manufacturing and industrial sectors. The University alumni are qualified as engineers, as well as Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral’s degrees.

Now Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) is:

• 15 faculties / institutes;
• 36 degree programs / specialties;
• 2000 lecturers;
• 15 000 students;
• 600 foreign students from 32 countries.

Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) enters TOP 100 of the best higher education institutions in Russia and in top-50 the best technical universities in Russia with high quality employees (Rating Agency «Expert RA»). Platov SRSPU(NPI) enters TOP 100 of Webomertics rating and also university got the first place among all technical universities of South of Russia by employer’s demand.

Graduates of the University gain the state-approved diploma confirming receiving the higher education in the Russian Federation with the indication of degree/qualification and specialty. The foreign graduates will receive additional documents – “The European application to the diploma” which allows him to receive a diploma equivalent in any country of the world for continuation of training or employment.
