Undergraduate degree courses (Bachelor degree courses, BSc) offered at Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy takes four years to complete.
For admission, a candidate requires:
- valid national passport and a copy;
- officially certified copy of the high/secondary school-leaving certificate or the «A» level examination results (other qualifications/certificates obtained can be attached), translated into Russian;
- completed health certificate form (clean bill of health), translated into Russian;
- a completed application form;
- six passport-size (3х4 cm) photographs.
International candidates also need to provide an HIV-negative test statement and a medical certificate obtained in the home country confirming the absence of contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation.
All Bachelor degree courses are taught in Russian so a candidate must prove a sufficient level of Russian language competence.
There is Preparatory Department for International Students: preliminary courses of one year duration on Russian language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
On completion of the preliminary courses international students can be registered for bachelor or master degree programs at any faculty of RSAU-MTAA or to apply for any Russian university.
Some courses (veterinary medicine, economic safety, construction of unique buildings, etc.) require a full-cycle 5-year specialist degree. The same admission requirements apply to those courses.
