Switzerland’s Sustainability Management School offers innovative undergraduate programs, master’s degrees and MBAs in business with an edge: sustainability.

SUMAS Learning Center & Accommodations 

Our new learning center located directly across the Conservation Center & SUMAS Offices includes brand new on-campus fully furnished & serviced housing for students, a lecture hall and seminar classrooms with state-of-the-art technologies, a gym facility, a student lounge, and a sandwicherie.

Swiss Conservation Center & SUMAS Offices

SUMAS offices lie within the IUCN and WWF Headquarters in Gland, Switzerland, which provides the perfect environment to study sustainability-related subjects. The state-of-the-art complex set a benchmark in sustainable construction, was the first in Europe to receive LEED Platinum certification and is certified MINERGIE ECO-P. The building also includes a library, conference rooms, cafeteria, an outdoor terrace, as well as a botanical garden. 

Extension Campus in Italy 

SUMAS has expanded to Italy with New Extension Campuses Swiss-based professors are streamed live from SUMAS main location to our extension campus, offering the latest conferencing technology to ensure interactive & challenging learning experiences.

COVID-19 Information:

•             What is the status of planned campus admission open days/tours? If these events are cancelled, are they being replaced in any way (i.e. by online alternatives)?
Campus tours are carried out following safety guidelines. In the case a candidate cannot attend a campus tour, we provide online webinars and virtual tours.

•             How can applicants contact the university about their application?

•             How is the university handling applicants whose exams have been cancelled?
SUMAS will still accept students whose examinations have been cancelled based on previous and current transcripts, predicted grades and school/university certificates

•             What advice is the university offering to applicants unable to take an English-language test due to centers being closed?
This can be done at a later stage on an exceptional basis and we can still accept candidates.

•             How is the university supporting applicants whose visa applications have been delayed?
A late arrival on campus will be permitted due to delayed visa

•             Is the university still accepting applications? Are there any restrictions being placed on international applicants?
We are still accepting applications with no restrictions

•             How are applications for university accommodation being handled?
Our housing team is assisting all applicants with on campus housing options should they require it

•             Is the university making any changes to entry requirements (i.e. test results, required documents)?
The entry requirements remain the same except in cases where high school/university final exams have been cancelled where an exception can be made.



Undergraduate Programs

Our university welcomes applications from students who have successfully completed an International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 30 or a High School Diploma or any secondary education at an accredited institution with a minimum GPA OF 2.5. Students with final grades lower than IB 30 or GPA 2.5 can be accepted on probation depending on the results per subject.
