About
Based in Gland near the picturesque lake Léman in Geneva, the Swiss business school Sustainability Management School offers a bachelor of business administration with the following three major options to choose from:
- Sustainability Management
- Sustainable Hospitality Management
- Sustainable Fashion Management
- Finance and Responsible Investment
A responsible and sustainable campus
The Sustainability Management School has sworn its allegiance to the ten principles set out by the United Nations Global Compact, with a particular focus on sustainability. Through several initiatives ranging from paperless classes to geothermal heating, the school strives to make a difference in Business Education whilst protecting the planet.
Selective cohorts
Sustainability Management School welcomes applications from students who meet all the following criteria:
- A high school diploma with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- An International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 30
- For non-native speakers who haven’t spent the last three years at an English-taught school, a minimum TOEFL score of 550 PBT or 80 IBT, or a minimum IELTS score of 6.

SUMAS Learning Center & Accommodations
Our new learning center located directly across the Conservation Center & SUMAS Offices includes brand new on-campus fully furnished & serviced housing for students, a lecture hall and seminar classrooms with state-of-the-art technologies, a gym facility, a student lounge, and a sandwicherie.
Swiss Conservation Center & SUMAS Offices
SUMAS offices lie within the IUCN and WWF Headquarters in Gland, Switzerland, which provides the perfect environment to study sustainability-related subjects. The state-of-the-art complex set a benchmark in sustainable construction, was the first in Europe to receive LEED Platinum certification and is certified MINERGIE ECO-P. The building also includes a library, conference rooms, cafeteria, an outdoor terrace, as well as a botanical garden.
Extension Campus in Italy
SUMAS has expanded to Italy with New Extension Campuses Swiss-based professors are streamed live from SUMAS main location to our extension campus, offering the latest conferencing technology to ensure interactive & challenging learning experiences.

Undergraduate Programs
Our university welcomes applications from students who have successfully completed an International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 30 or a High School Diploma or any secondary education at an accredited institution with a minimum GPA OF 2.5. Students with final grades lower than IB 30 or GPA 2.5 can be accepted on probation depending on the results per subject.
