Founded in 1623, and granted constitution autonomy 300 years later in 1923, Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) is recognized by several national and international organizations as one of the best public higher education institutions in Mexico.

With five campuses located in various municipalities throughout the state of San Luis Potosí, UASLP has a student population of over 32,000, with just under one percent of its undergraduate students coming from countries such as: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Korea, Holland, Spain, the United States, Peru, Dominican Republic and Russia. Just under four percent of UASLP’s postgraduate students are also international.
