Dom Bosco Catholic University (UCDB), localized at Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil was founded in 1962, and in 1993 became University with higher education and research. The UCDB is beneficent, educational-cultural and social assistance organization, and for this reason it is part of the Network of Salesian Institutions of Higher Education (IUS), currently with 93 IUS in 21 countries in the five continents of the world.
At presente, UCDB offers 35 undergraduate courses including human, social, biological, technological and health sciences, as well as 6 doctoral programs (one offered in a network with universities in the Center-West) and 6 Master's programs, one of them set up as an Erasmus Mundus International Master Diploma, approved since 2010, offered with 5 foreign universities (Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne, KuLeuven, Padova, Johannesburg and Ouagadou). The institution has 32 research groups duly registered with CNPQ, in the various areas of knowledge (human, social, biological, technological, health), linked to the stricto sensu Postgraduate Programs.
In addition, the UCDB currently offers 32 specialization courses in various areas and, likewise, offers distance, undergraduate and specialization courses with 27 poles distributed in all Brazil’s regions.
