The graduate courses in Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele range  from  Master of Science degrees within the three Faculties of Medicine, Psychology and Philosophy, to the Phds and medical specialization schools courses.

Within the School of Medicine,  graduate level courses are offered in:


Medicine and Dentistry are 6 year 'single-cycle' degree courses. This means the degree obtained is a graduate level degree ( an MD  for the Medical programs) but students can access directly after high school. The minimum requirement is to have completed high school and have 12 years of education but applications from students who have completed college programs or a Bsc are accepted as well.

Admission to the above listed courses are regulated by a specific competition call. The Calls are published each year and contain details concerning the number of places available, the test dates, fees and requirements for applying.

The School of Medicine also offers 26 specialisation schools. Access to these schools are managed by the MInistry of University.

School of Psychology: The Msc in Psychology offers two curricula; The Clinical and Health Psychology program trains students in clinical practice centered on the individual and on the individual’s family and socio-relational context. The Cognitive Neuroscience program focuses on the theoretical and the experimental/methodological skills that are needed for research into neuroscience and its clinical applications.A bsc in Psychology is the minimum requirement for sending in applications to this course. This course is taught in Italian.

The Msc in Cognitive Psychology in Health Communication is an English taught course and offers a joint degree in collaboration with USI, Università della Svizzera Italiana. This course aims to prepare students who can understand the causes of health-related behaviour and who are able to design new and effective interventions to prevent disease and promote health. This Msc offers a high degree of innovation thanks also to the advanced technologies available on site in the two universities in terms of high-tech equipment, data centres, laboratories, and health facilities.  Applications are managed by USI. The minimum requirement for applying is to possess a Bsc in Psychology. A specific comeptition call determines the numebr of places available each year and the whole admissions procedure.

The School of Psychology also offer specialiation training taught in Italian.

School of Philosophy: Msc in Philosophy: This 2-year Msc in Philosophy taught in Italian aims to dispel the artificial distinction between humanistic and scientific culture. The training project  is based on the intersection of philosophical knowledge with the scientific, social, cultural and artistic activities, in particular in the areas of public philosophy, cognitive science and history of ideas.

The School of Philosphy also offers Italian taught Master Programs and an International PhD in Philosphy

Another International PhD Program is the International PhD School in Molecular Medicine
