Foundational Skills: to give students the writing, quantitative and scientific reasoning, Italian language, information technology, information literacy and oral presentation skills you will need to succeed in your studies at The American University of Rome;
The Individual in a Multicultural Society: courses in this section highlight issues of diversity and cross-cultural encounters and explore the individual’s response to a variety of issues in a multicultural context;
US Government and Society: all students take one three-credit course to deepen their understanding of US history and/or government.
