Curtin University is Western Australia’s largest university, welcoming more than 56,000 students, around a quarter of whom come from a country other than Australia.

In addition to the main campus in Perth, Curtin has campuses in Dubai, Kalgoorlie, Singapore, Malaysia and Mauritius, and course delivery through more than 90 partner institutions worldwide.

Curtin is ranked in the top one per cent of universities worldwide in the 2019 Academic Ranking of World Universities and 230th in the world in the 2020 QS World University Rankings.

The University leads a number of major international research projects in minerals and energy, defence, data analytics and emerging technologies, health sciences, astronomy, sustainable development and agriculture and is involved with more than 70 research centres and collaborations, including the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy, the Centre for Crop and Disease Management and Innovation Central Perth.

Flexible study and student support
There are flexible study options to suit different interests and career goals. Depending on their course, students may have the opportunity to transfer between campuses or complete their course online. Some courses offer evening and weekend classes, allowing students to study in conjunction with full-time or part-time work.

About Perth
Situated on the beautiful western coast of Australia, Perth is a safe, picturesque and multicultural city, and is one of the most affordable cities to live in Australia. The city centre is home to Elizabeth Quay, colourful shopping malls, the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Yagan Square – a community space reflective of both culture and history – as well as many beautiful parks and gardens.

Perth has a domestic and an international airport, and is located in the same time zone as Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur. The Perth metropolitan area is very well serviced with bus, train and ferry public transport services and an extensive road network. The international airport is just a 20-minute drive from the city.
