Curtin has technology-rich environments that immerse students in their courses. These learning spaces recreate real workplaces to enhance their study experience, helping them to graduate with practical experience that is applicable to the workplace.
For example, The Agency allows students to experience first-hand how major global brands monitor their digital presence while the stock market trading room provides them with access to an authentic trading room floor featuring the latest technology.
The simulated hospital ward allows health students to learn in a realistic hospital environment while the $32.5 million Curtin Engineering Pavilion Complex provides interactive visualisations of the building’s mechanical and chemical processes.
Flexible entry options
If students are unable to meet Curtin’s admission criteria, the University offers a range of flexible entry options to help students to qualify for a place on a bachelor degree course.
The UniReady Enabling Program is a short pathway program offered twice yearly that can lead to entry to a range of undergraduate courses, while enabling courses in science, engineering and health, and the Indigenous pre-medicine and health sciences enabling course provide pathways to engineering and science-based courses, and degrees in health and medicine.
Alongside the University, Curtin College offers various courses ranging from certificate IV to diploma level, which can help students gain eligibility to apply to Curtin.

A scholarship from Curtin can offer financial, academic and career support throughout domestic and international students’ studies. There is a range of options available, including scholarships for students experiencing financial hardship, merit-based scholarships for high achievers, as well as faculty-specific scholarships.
