East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbayev (EKSTU) was founded in 1958.D. Serikbayev EKSTU is the leading regional university. In 2013 it was on the 7th place among the technical universities of Kazakhstan. Yearly ten bachelor’s programs won the first places in the national ranking of educational programs.EKSTU is a full member of the International Association of the universities.In 2010 the University received a certificate of institutional accreditation and in 2011 it was certified by the National Certification Commission for a period of 5 years.The University offers educational programs for the Bachelor, Master and Doctor degrees in areas: Arts & Humanities; Engineering & IT; Natural Sciences; Social Sciences.Same educational programs Ba and Ma passed specialized accreditation and were certified by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE).
