Feng Chia University (FCU), a metropolitan university located in Tiachung City, has earned the reputation of becoming one of the most promising comprehensive universities in Taiwan. Currently it takes around 20,000 graduate and undergraduate students yearly in its eight Colleges--Business, Construction and Development, Engineering, Finance, Humanities and Social Sciences, Information and Electrical Engineering, Sciences, and School of Management Development. Its graduates of more than 150,000, working for governmental agencies and private enterprises, have contributed enormously to the overall economy-miracle of Taiwan. FCU has been one of the top ranked universities by the Ministry of Education through a nationwide comprehensive evaluation program for all higher education institutions in Taiwan since 2008. We have also been awarded by the Ministry of Education for the Teaching Excellence Project, which started in 2005, and have since received the most funding on a competition basis. FCU offers programs that were the first accredited by IEET (substantially equivalent to ABET) in Taiwan and the graduate attributes are ranked top 10 by all enterprises and professionals nationwide.
