The KBTU Business School is accredited by the ACBSP while the University hosts the International School of Economics that has a double degree program with the University of London. KBTU graduates with degrees in IT and oil & gas and energy are working across the world for top international companies. KBTU hosts Central Asia’s first maritime academy, the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy (KMA). KMA cadets receive training in Kazakhstan, the Netherlands and Oman. The university follows a unique academic model where business leaders sit on the University Advisor Board, Industrial Committees. They help in providing internships and employment opportunities to KBTU graduates. The University has a broad range of live academic partnerships with universities and institutions such as Harvard Business School, Reading University, China Petroleum University and universities in Europe, Russia, China and in other parts of the world.
