Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University’s four-year full-time undergraduate program aims to provide a pedagogical education which broadens knowledge and awareness in each of the major areas of human knowledge, while significantly deepening understanding in one or a couple of these areas.
The university offers 43 bachelor degree programs at 6 departments. Students can join undergraduate programs in a wide range of disciplines such as Еducation, Humanitarian Sciences, Arts, Social Sciences, Economy and Business, Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences and Technologies, Service.
There are approximately 6400 students.. KNTTU provides dual degree programs, academic mobility programs for students, visiting professors from different countries of the world top universities are invited.
Applications can be submitted through the points scored on the United National Testing (UNT) or the Complex Testing of the Applicant (СTA).
International students are eligible for free education on a competitive basis by foreign citizens determined by international agreements with the university. Admission of foreign citizens to study on a payment basis conducted by the university admission commission in the form of an interview.
Model rules for admission foreign citizens for training in the organization of education, implementing professional training programs of higher education In educational organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan realizing professional training programs of higher education, the persons who have general secondary (general secondary), technical and vocational (primary and secondary vocational, post-secondary), higher education (higher vocational) education. The reception persons entering in higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out by placing the government order (educational grants), as well as tuition fees at their own expense of citizens and other sources.
The academic year at KNTTU is divided into semesters, with undergraduate tuition costing US$2000 annually, with housing and board an extra cost. Around 97 per cent of undergraduates live in university housing.
