We offer 29 master’s programs (MA/MSc) and 26 doctoral (PhD) programs at Koç University across various in demand areas of research and professional development such as sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, health sciences and business administration.
Tuition fees The average tuition fees for international students who study a master’s program without a thesis, such as the MBA, MSc Finance and Master in Management range between TRY92,500(~US$17,000) and TRY103,660(~US$19,000).
To help lighten the lighten the financial load, there are a number of funding options available. For example, every student who enrolls in a two-year master’s programs is offered a 100 percent tuition scholarship, whilst every student who enrolls in a four-year PhD program is also offered a 100 percent tuition scholarship with extra benefits including a monthly stipend, housing and health insurance.
Scholarships are awarded on academic merit only, so when you submit your application to study at the university, your application will automatically be taken into consideration for a scholarship.
Entry requirements The application and admission requirements for graduate programs are the same for national and international students. However, these requirements may vary between each graduate school and program, so please visit our website for further details. However, most common requirements to study at Koç University include:
- An international standard exam score (GRE/GMAT) - English language proficiency exam score (TOEFL, CAE) - University diploma and grade transcripts - Personal essay or statement of purpose outlining your motivation and desire to study a postgraduate degree at the university - Two or three letters of recommendation
Admissions process To apply to Koç University, you’ll need to complete the online application form and ensure that all required documents are also submitted. With the exception of the master’s without thesis programs in the Graduate School of Business (MBA, MSc Finance and MiM), there is no application process fee.
If you’re interested in applying to one of our PhD programs, these are accepted on a rolling basis by the Graduate Schools. For master’s programs however, there are application deadlines in the spring and fall (except for the Graduate School of Business).
