KTMU is a public university which offers education free of any charge. Of 88 programs offered by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, 38 are full-time undergraduate programs across nine faculties: Humanities, Sciences, Economics and Management, Theology, Communications, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, and Arts. All these programs meet the requirements set by the Bologna Process. To apply to four-year undergraduate program,the applicant’s average grade should be no lower than 3.5 out of 5 or 70 out of 100. Applicants are admitted according to their results on the exam offered by the Admissions Center. of KTMU.
All Bachelor’s programmes are taught in both Kyrgyz and Turkish languages. Therefore, in addition to four-year undergraduate program, students take a core language (Kyrgyz or Turkish) course at the first year of education. Students, for whome these two languages are not a first language need to prove their proficiency with a test, conducted by KTMU.
Based on academic success, students are awarded scholarship.
About 15% of undergraduate students are from international background: there are students from 16 different countries within our university. This environment gives opportunity for cultural diversity and richness. Students from many different countries and communities meet each other and share their cultures together and make friends from all around the world. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University students do not have problems in finding job, because of the quality of education they have received, and few foreign languages they have learned.
