About

Master’s degree is the second stage of Higher Education at MSPU. Institutions and Faculties of MSPU offer more than 50 Master’s degree programmes. The University provides Master’s degree programmes in Physics, History, Journalism (“Political Journalism, International Journalism”), Biology and Chemistry (“Chemical examination of food products”), Defectology, Primary Education, Psychology, Philology (“Foreign literature in the context of culture”); “World literature of the turn of XX-XXI centuries”), Computer Sciences, Foreign Languages (The theory and practice of translation), Geography ( “Ethno-cultural education”), Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology (“Inclusive education”). The major degree program is “Pedagogical Education”. Students can choose full-time or part-time degree programmes. Duration of training is 2 or 2,5 years (entry date is 1st September; expected degree date is 30th June). On completing the education the Master’s Degree Diploma is issued and the student is awarded the Master’s degree. MSPU also offers an applied master’s degree programmes. Admission to a Master’s programme requires a Bachelor’s degree. MSPU also applies PhD programmes, the next stage of Higher Education. In addition, various short-term education programmes for professional development are offered.
