Tunghai University was established in 1955 and is located on the level plateau of Taichung’s Tatu Mountain. It is a liberal institution full of scholarly elites and abundant resources and is well-known for its beautiful campus. Tunghai has 8 colleges, 34 departments, 35 Master’s programs and 14 Ph.D. programs. The 8 colleges are College of Arts, College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Social Sciences, College of Agriculture, College of Fine Arts and Creative Design, and College of Law.
