Established in 1982,the University of Rome Tor Vergata is located in a 600-hectare campus in theSouth-east of Rome. Tor Vergata currently offers 106 graduate programmes (Bachelordegree, Master degree, One-cycle degree) and 32 PhD courses. Among its affiliations, Tor Vergata is part ofthree important networks: YERUN (Young European Research UniversitiesNetwork), which is composed of young European universities with accreditedinternational presence, aims at creating collaborations of both research andteaching activities like dual degrees and student exchanges; VIU(VeniceInternational University) is a network of prestigious worldwide Universities,which provides our students with an exchange semester in Venice to study topicsconnected to globalisation. In doing so, it enriches their learning experienceby means of interdisciplinary knowledge; UNICA (Network of Universitiesfrom the Capitals of Europe) was founded in 1990. It is currently made up of 46universities from 35 capital cities of Europe, combining over 150,000 universitystaff and 1.800,000 students.
