沙迦大学

The university isone of the leading academic institutions in the Middle East and around the world. In addition to its main campus in Sharjah City, the university has built campus facilities to provide education and training programs directly to several communities throughout the emirate. Most significantly, the university plays an important role in the socioeconomic development of the emirate of Sharjah.

The main campus for the University is located on the southern edge of Sharjah in University City, which is in close proximity to the Sharjah International Airport. The University of Sharjah extends its services through three branches located in different geographic areas in the emirate of Sharjah such as Al Dheed,Khor Fakkan and  Kalba. 

UoS is a comprehensive academic institution offering more than 73 programs  including diplo­mas, BSc/BA’s . Programs with a distinctive learning style and a global vision. It is a pioneer in academia, scientific research and the arts in the UAE and the GCC region. UoS has almost 14,325students representing 96 nationalities and 656 full-time faculty. In the Medical and Health Sciences field, it’s critically acclaimed and dedicated medical cluster has modern facilities for the study and research in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and health sciences as well as an on-site medical and dental hospital. 

UoS is licensed and its programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Affairs Division in the United Arab Emirates. 

The bachelor of science degree programs in Sustainable and renewable energy engineering, nuclear engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, ,Industrial engineering, architectural engineering and mechanical engineering offered by the College of Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET http://www.abet.org/.

The Bachelor of Science degree programs in computer science, IT & multimedia, chemistry, mathematics and biotechnology offered by the College of Science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET http://www.abet.org/. (applied science branch)

The Bachelor of Art in public relations, electronic media, Graphic design and multimedia, journalism and mass communication of the College of Communication is accredited by the ACEJMC (Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication)

The College of Business Administration is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
