Ualikhanov University, Kazakhstan is an actively developing higher educational institution, one of the leading universities in the northern region of Kazakhstan . Our students get equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to become leaders in educational and entrepreneurial fields.  Our schools are Pedagogical, Agrotechnical, Medical and School of Law and Business.  Our schools offer a wide range of program opportunities resulting in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees . We have a local and national reputation for the quality of our teaching, high level of student achievements and competitiveness of our graduates. Pedagogical educational programs of the University enter TOP-3 in the national ranking. Ualikhanov University holds the 10th place in the general rating of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In ARES-2020 international rating, the university holds the 9th place.

Today 7000students study at the university including 300 international students. International students can become holders of Rector's scholarships for high academic achievements and active participation in the cultural life of the university. Our teaching staff is more than 400 teachers, including 21 Doctors of Sciences, 95 candidates of sciences and 20 PhD doctors.

Each year we invite foreign professors from the UK, the USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and other countries, who are professionals of the highest level, to give lectures and practical classes, to consult Master and PhD students, to conduct joint research projects.  We have links with universities across the globe for students who wish to study for one semester on the academic mobility program or to have an internship. Our study destinations have included – Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Russia, China, Poland, the UK, the USA.  We have 9 double degree programs with universities of Bulgaria, Lithuania, Russia, and Belarus.
