The follow-up Master Degree studies continue in 4th and 5th years of studies. The study plans consist of compulsory and optional subjects. The optional subjects enable the students to acquite a wider spectre of education or to specialize more deeply in their studies. Usually at the beginning of 4th year the students start preparing theoretical and practical data for their diploma thesis which they defend as part of the State Final Examination. By passing the State Final Examination and by defending the thesis the students complete their Master Degree studies, they are conferred upon the Master Degree and they receive a title of Ing.
