Narxoz University

Narxoz University offers 21 bachelor degree programs, many of which have been developed with the participation of representatives of leading national and international businesses, education providers and professional business associations. The university focuses on integrating best business practices with input from international educational programs, and on nurturing an innovative spirit among its students. Narxoz’s business partners play an instrumental role in delivering the best undergraduate practice-oriented programs in the field of economics and business, orienting students to learn about many career opportunities with top national and international corporations.

Narxoz University is currently engaged in an ambitious transformation to become a largely English-medium institution with an inward orientation toward active transformation while serving as a cultural, educational and intellectual bridge to the outside world. Fully transformed programs are represented in two schools: Narxoz Business School and School of Social Sciences and Law. The Faculty of General Education gives students linguistic and cultural education, develops critical thinking and teaches how to expresses their ideas and thoughts in creative writing.

Undergraduate international students usually study for four years, having access not only to top national and international faculty and world-class visiting professors, but also to internships and Work-Based Learning (WBL) at leading national and international corporations in Kazakhstan. Graduates of the Business, Economics, Finance and Tourism programs are highly sought-out by employers in the country and in the region because of their solid practice-oriented knowledge of current, innovative and highly practical business and managerial approaches.

Narxoz students study business practices, policies and current issues affecting companies by examining real-life scenarios. The Accounting & Audit, Management, Marketing and Law programs have earned broad exposure in Kazakhstan since graduates obtain high-quality professional grounding. Thanks to strong partnership with businesses through the University’s ‘Most’ Business Incubator, national and international undergraduate students are successful in preparing themselves for a wide variety of career opportunities in the corporate world. Narxoz strives to internationalize the background of its students via international opportunities: student and faculty exchange programs, the European ERASMUS program, dual-degree programs and other short-term and long-term study-abroad programs.
