Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit

Located in the Mexican city of Tepit, the Autonomous University of Nayarit offers a total of 61 degree programs – 33 for undergraduates and 28 for postgraduates. Around 29,000 students are currently enrolled at the university. Established in 1969, the university is established as one of the most notable in the Latin American region. The university spans multiple campuses, most of which have a rural location. In total, there are 14 academic departments, covering subject areas as varied as agriculture, law, economics and fisheries.
