Ovidius University of Constanta is a public higher education institution founded in 1961 and transformed into a comprehensive university in 1990. With over 15000 students, of which more than 1200 international and with degree programs in most areas of interest, ranging from medicine and life sciences to natural sciences and engineering, from social and economic sciences to humanities and arts, OUC is the largest university at the Black Sea in the European Union.
