University of Maribor

University of Maribor, composed by 17 faculties, offers undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes. Undergraduate courses of study, offered by the University of Maribor and its member faculties, lead to the award of diploma. Undergraduate study programmes are academic or professionally oriented, in slovenian higher education sphere we call them also 1st degree study programmes and they last three to four years, depending on the field of study and its specifics. When graduating, students receive, along with a diploma, a diploma supplement, issued in Slovene and one of official EU languages, both free of charge. The diploma supplement’s purpose is to state student’s study achievements when searching for employment.
