At PUCRS students have access to one of the most technologically advanced libraries in South America, covering every area of knowledge: The Irmão José Otão Main Library. With more than 1 million volumes, including books, journals, theses, dissertations, CDs and DVDs (including materials for the visually impaired), it covers 21,000 square meters of built área. The library provides an environment conducive to studying, with rooms equipped with computers, wireless internet access, special lighting, group and individual study rooms, reading areas with natural light, and an external study room.
PUCRS also offers to undergraduate students the services of The Academic Mobility Office (CMA), responsible for disseminating opportunities of academic exchange, conducting selection processes, handling applications, monitoring and guiding students. Such processes include domestic and foreign institutions linked to several Cultural and Study Programs.
