Small Individualized Program: The University of California Hastings College of the Law offers a one-year LL.M. degree in United States Legal Studies for 20 students holding a law degree from a foreign law faculty. Many U.S. law schools now have LL.M. programs for foreign attorneys, but few like Hastings can provide a challenging intellectual environment at a prestigious university in one of the world's most exciting cities. LL.M. students will receive rigorous academic training individually tailored to their interests and closely supervised by full-time dedicated professors. Internationally Recognized Faculty: Hastings is the first law faculty at the University of California and is the third largest public law school in the United States. With a full-time faculty of 56 professors, Hastings has an enviable collection of young faculty with spirited and original scholarship complemented by the insight of some of the most distinguished senior professors in the United States. For generations, Hastings' faculty has included many of the leading legal scholars in the United States, and Hastings continues to draw internationally recognized scholars from leading universities.
