I.Zhansugurov Zhetysu State University

In order to create favorable conditions for creating the unified scientific information space, to provide consumers with centralized access to all the resources of scientific and technical information to both own publications and international databases, since January 2012 Zhetysu State University named after I.Zhansugurov was granted the access to the scientific electronic editions of Thomson Reuters (contract no. 85 dated December 27, 2011) and Springer (contract no. 72 dated December 27, 2011) databases on a gratuitous basis within the Framework of National license of “National Center of Scientific and Technical Information”.

Since May 2012 the university has access to full-text articles of journals edited by Elsevier and published since January 2008 in the list “Freedom Collection”.

The university has the following facilities: classes, computer classes, training, research, and virtual laboratories, equipment support, library materials. These facilities are relevant to applicable sanitary and technical norms and ensure all types of theoretical and practical training in the curriculum as well as the effective implementation of student’s scientific-research work. The university enables the obligatory testing of research results at regional, republic and international scientific conferences and publishing them in the materials of conferences and journal “Bulletin of Zhetysu State University named after I.Zhansugurov”.
