Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) was the first University in Greece to organize and successfully operate master's studies, starting in 1978. Today, AUEB offers 28 master’s programs, some of which are full-time and some of which are part-time, while three of the programs operate in joint collaboration with other Universities. The goal of AUEB's master's programs is to create leaders who will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to be competitive internationally in today's society of knowledge and information, and who will be fully capable of successfully dealing with the challenges of the globalized international environment of the 21st century.
