GITAM University’s main campus is situated in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The campus is located in a picturesque location, surrounded by lush green hills and is very near to Rushikonda beach, one of the popular tourist spots in South India.It is one of the few deemed universities in South India. GITAM is the first private institute in Andhra Pradesh to receive the university status. GITAM strongly imbibes the values and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi in its culture to shape the career and personality growth of its students.English in the main language of instruction but Telugu and Hindi are also used. GITAM offers courses in Sanskrit, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin and Spanish.
